How to verify the signal strength

1. To access the main menu, press and hold both the up and down buttons simultaneously for two seconds.

2. Press the down arrow button until "Mood Media Display" appears.  Press the Enter button.

3. Press the down arrow button again until "EbNo" is displayed.  The signal strength will then be displayed on this page.

Signal strength is measured on a number scale.  The higher the number, the stronger the signal is from the satellite.  With a clear sky, the signal is deemed poor if it is under 8.5.  the music will usually have static, fading in and out, or not playing at all.  A signal strength of 10 or more allows for proper playback, however lower will be fine as long as it is above 8.5.
